This year’s inaugural award was presented to Naydamar Maldonado, Family Support Specialist.
Naydamar continues to go above and beyond for this organization and the families she serves. She is such a light for both staff and families, we are very fortunate to have such a strong example of empathy, kindness, and compassion.
Naydamar has a deep respect and compassion for partner families and this shows up in the way she approaches her work - with kindness, thoughtfulness and dedication. She is a good listener and continually searches for understanding that will help her serve her families. She has also been kind and generous with coworkers, lending a listening ear, bringing treats to the office, and enlightening us to the cultures, histories, challenges and beauty of the families we work with.
This year’s inaugural award was presented to Rhonda Banks, Family Support Specialist. Rhonda’s co workers say- “Her empathy towards clients and her ability to connect in a collaborative and compassionate way makes her a great Family Support Specialist and colleague.”
She believes in the importance of the work and is known for having a heart for the job. She is an innovative thinker who always has the clients’ best interest in mind.
This year’s inaugural award was presented to Torri Ayers, Family Support Supervisor. Torri is a 15-year member of the staff at Child Health Partnership. Torri’s co workers say – “She brings joy, humor and compassion to everything she does. She is a wonderful advocate for families and builds great rapport with them.”
It is a pleasure to work with someone who is incredibly caring about everyone she encounters on daily basis.
This year’s inaugural award was presented to Ashley Howard, Family Support Specialist.
Ashley is committed to the mission of Child Health Partnership and emulates all that we stand for in her day to day life. She is a caring, compassionate, and trustworthy family support specialist, teammate, colleague, and client advocate. She is friendly and kind to others and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is strength based in her work and is always ready to offer an encouraging word. She strongly believes in the value of providing prevention services through our home visiting program.
Ashley is passionate about this work because she has witnessed first-hand how resilient families can be when we as a team work with families to help them overcome challenges. She truly believes that the work we do helps strengthen families, helps children thrive, helps promote a healthier community, and helps shape a better future.
